Size Guide
A snug fit around the arms and torso helps calm the Moro/Startle Reflex. The neck hole should fit closely and comfortably without being restrictive (you should be able to get 1 to 2 fingers in the neck hole). The neck hole must not be able to pass up and over the baby's mouth. For the best fit, please select the size based on your child's weight, not their height or age.

Safety
All garments we produce are INPAA approved, as well as certified to the relevant safety standards applicable to those particular garments. Love To Dream garments are made to comply to some of the strictest requirements in the world. Dependant of the garment style and country it is supplied to, some of these requirements include standards and regulations such as BS EN 16781, AS/NZS 1249, CFR1610 or CFR1615.
What is a TOG Rating?
Finding the right TOG rating and dressing your baby appropriately for the temperature can be confusing. Every baby feels hot and cold differently, ambient temperatures fluctuate, and layering impacts thermal effectiveness. It's not a one-size-fits-all approach, but understanding these factors can help.
At Love to Dream we use the industry-recognised measurement system, called TOG. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and helps simplify the process of choosing the right garment/s for your baby. Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric.
Products with a 0.2 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 24-27°C.
Products with a 1.0 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 20-24°C.
Products with a 1.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 18-22°C.
Products with a 2.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 16-20°C.
Products with a 3.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures below 16°C.
All babies are different. The number of clothing layers may vary according to a baby’s health, their physiology, and the room temperature in the room. The caregiver must determine what is suitable. We recommend that carers always monitor the temperature of the room & the child’s comfort. It is important to check your baby regularly to ensure that they are comfortable and that they do not overheat.
